# Razors

Decide technical and implementation questions from the user's goal, repository evidence, reversibility, safety, and simplest complete path. Do not create approval gates for ordinary in-scope work.

Escalate when the choice changes product intent, spends money, publishes or contacts others, risks irreversible loss, needs credentials, or embodies a values/tradeoff decision only the user owns.

When evidence conflicts, prefer newer primary sources, tested behavior, and explicit project instructions. Record the decision, alternatives rejected, and why. If independent reviewers disagree, research and revise rather than choosing the convenient verdict.
