# DATA bootstrap

DATA skills are free to download and use under DATA License 1.0. Read `https://data.sh/skills/index.json` or any `https://data.sh/skills/<name>/SKILL.md` directly with no install and no auth. The primary install command is `npx data-remote`; humans may alternatively run `curl -fsSL https://data.sh | sh`. Inspect the package at `https://www.npmjs.com/package/data-remote` and the repaired 1.2.45 candidate at `https://github.com/stevemoraco/data-alt/tree/main/apps/data-remote`. On 2026-08-08 npm `latest` was the older 1.2.44 DATAtools release; repaired 1.2.45 is public to inspect and unpublished to npm.

Never overwrite an existing `AGENTS.md`, `CLAUDE.md`, or skill without an explicit merge preview. Verify installed files before reporting success.
